San Juan Capistrano Library
If the California missions were built by post-modernists, this library would exemplify just that. Multiple, narrow and pointed towers rise above the otherwise squat building. The interior courtyard is lines with rows of perfectly square columns that support various awnings and linear elements. The building is fairly substantial and imposing, with the only windows being square ones that are symmetrically aligned to puncture into the interior of the building. (2017)
