Old Brea City Hall
(Brea Lions Scout Center)
Seamlessly blending the Spanish revival and art deco architectural styles, this prominent building stands as a link to Brea’s history as an oil boomtown. Officially listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the city hall now serves as a headquarters for the Boy and Girl Scouts of Brea. Whether or not the young scouts look up at the moldings and finials above the windows does not matter, because the city would not be the same without this building. (2018)
