Cliff May Tract

Arguably the worst-kept Cliff May-designed neighborhood in the region, this tract of homes deserves recognition nonetheless. Unfortunately, too many homes have been mutilated by undesirable alterations to the original designs. Those that remain are in poor maintenance, but all of the hallmarks of May's designs are still there, waiting to be unearthed by a keen design-minded homeowner. Features like clerestory windows, homes built diagonally to the property lines, courtyards and breezeways, and low pitched roofs are imploring to be unearthed again. (2020)
