Arby's
At some point in American history, every roadside was dotted with Arby's like this one. As fate would have it, this one remains as one of the last remaining, and arguably best-maintained "chuck-wagon" style restaurant. Everything from the conestoga wagon inspired roofline to the neon sign remain as doses of kitschy Americana. Unfortunately most of the region has lost much of its programmatic architecture from its car-obsessed past. Luckily for us, this example is still standing strong. (2020)
