Lovell Beach House

The only Rudolph Schindler to be built in Orange County, the Lovell Beach House luckily still stands in remarkable shape. This piece is easily one of the most famous residential buildings in Orange County. Also listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, this all-white beach house is built with multiple protrusions, offsets, and articulations. Boxy in its nature, one could imagine building a house like this out of Legos. Regardless, the home works remarkably well in maximizing oceanfront views and setting the bar for all other beachside homes in the entire country. (2017)
