While this list is generally hesitant to note sensationalist architecture, this drugstore is an exception. Streamline moderne drugstores were once a staple of the American urban landscape, any attempt to revive this should be welcomed with open arms. The lateral louvres, fins and awnings make up for it though, helping invoke that nostalgia for drugstores of old. The building could benefit from using the entrance on the corner facing the intersection. However, such missed opportunities can be overlooked any time a "big-box" corporate image is shed for something more imaginative. (2017)
