Whitaker-Jaynes House

Though relocated from its historical home, the Whitaker-Jaynes house is a remarkable example of early Orange County homesteads. The covered porch is traditional of most early farmsteads, almost to the point that it has become cliché. Nonetheless, the high pitched roofs, and compact footprint are unique as compared to the more sprawling, ranch-style homes that typified suburbanized Orange County. (2018)
